Coliseum Shopping Centre in Kryvoy Rog (Ukraine)

 

The City
Krivoy Rog, is the centre of Kryvyi Rih iron ore basin, the major raw-material base in Ukraine. The prospected resources of iron ore make over 32 bilion tons, including deposits of rich martite ore – unique raw material for powder metallurgy and electronic industry.
Kryvoy Rog takes the third place in the world in extraction of iron ore, the mining complex of Kryvoy Rog provides about 90 percents of total amount of iron ore extraction, manufacture of concentrate and pellets in Ukraine.
The registered unemployment rate in June 2012 amounted to 1,08%
The city occupies an area of 410 square kilometers. Krivoy Rog is the longest city in Europe, it extends for 126 km from north to south.

The Project
The project concerns the construction of the shopping and entertainment centre “Coliseum”, which will be the biggest commercial structure in the city of Krivoy Rog.
The structure will be situated on Prospekt Mira, the main street of this central 90.000 inhabitants city district.
It will open in 2016.
Coliseum will emphasize the fashion segment creating the emotional shopping pattern for the customers.
